GREENWOOD, Ind. - The Indiana Intercollegiate meet was held on Friday at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Rose-Hulman led the HCAC field with a third place finish in the standings.
Rose-Hulman senior Camille Blaisdell (Barrington, Ill. / Barrington) led three top-20 finishers with a 10th-place finish in a six-kilometer time of 25:25. Junior Kally Morozin (Libertyville, Ill. / Carmel) was just behind, finishing 11th in 25:33, and senior Emma Ross (Connersville, Ind. / Connersville) added a third top-20 finish by placing 19th in 25:53.
Manchester sophomore Hannah Wappes (Columbia City, Ind. / Columbia City) placed third at the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships individually as the Manchester women's cross country team placed eighth on Friday. Wappes finished the six-kilometer race with a time of 24:12.9.
Anderson, Earlham, Franklin, and Hanover also competed in West Lafayette. The Ravens placed tenth in the team standings, while Earlham placed fifth and Franklin finished 12th overall. Hanover placed 11th as a team.
Bluffton University traveled to the Heidelberg/Tiffin Open and placed fifth out of nine teams, while Mount St. Joseph traveled to Notre Dame and did not post a team score.
Defiance and Transylvania traveled to Otterbein University to compete at the Otterbein Invitational Saturday. The Yellow Jackets and Pioneers did not post a team score at the meet.
