INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Earlham College raced to first place after landing six in the top ten in a dual race with Wilmington (Ohio) last weekend.
Earlham sophomore Ana Sosa-Ebert (Washington, D.C.) led the Quakers with a first place finish, and the freshman finished the four-kilometer race with a time of 15:58.8.
The Hanover College women's cross country team garnered a first place title in their home invitational last weekend. Leading the way for the Panthers was freshman Arig Tong (Columbus, Ind.) who captured first place in the 5K race with a time of 21:11.9. Transylvania also traveled to Hanover, Ind. for the event and placed third as a team.
Anderson, Franklin, and Mount St. Joseph competed in Shelbyville, Ind. at the Sodezo Grizzly Invitational last Saturday. The HCAC women's cross country teams placed 9th, 10th, and 11th respectively at the course.
Manchester University hosted its annual home cross country meet, the Hokum Karem, on Friday last week. The Manchester women placed first in the event with the Defiance College Yellow Jackets also gaining participation points.
Bluffton hosted the Back to the Nature Preserve on Friday and finished in third place out of six teams. Senior Jennie Matteson (Guysville, Ohio) led the way for the Beavers with a 10th place finish and a time of 20:33.37 in the 5K race.
