Heather Waterman, Franklin College, Women's Cross Country

Franklin College's Heather Waterman (Shelbyville, Ind./Morristown) captured first place among 244 runners at the Wilmington Fall Classic and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the fifth time. 

Waterman posted another career-best time, covering the 5K course in a time of 18:38.81 to earn the individual title. 

FC finished fourth among 25 schools competing at the event.
