Ellen Stryffeler, Defiance College, Women's Cross Country
Defiance College’s Ellen Stryffeler (Lisbon, Ohio/United Local) started the season with a first place finish at the Manchester Hokum Karem and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Stryffeler teamed with Erika DeBos for the victory, as the duo completed the course with a first place combined time of 39:31.00.
The Jackets finished behind host Manchester at the event.
